Prince Edward County 1000 Piece Puzzle

The images in this puzzle showcase the unique character and landscapes of Prince Edward Country, Ontario. The County is situated on the shores of Lake Ontario and the Bay of Quinte. It is situated upon traditional territory of the Anishnaabeg, Huron-Wendat, and Haudenosaunee Peoples and is adjacent to the Kanien'keha:ka (Mohawk) community of Tyendinaga. Those who partake in the bounty of this area, its vineyards, beaches, orchards, farms, arts and culinary trails reap the benefits of their generational stewardship and protection of this land.

Treaties signed in the late 1800s resulted in the removal of several Indigenous groups from the land and allowed United Empire Loyalists and others to settle. Today the County is home to Indigenous People, descendants of Loyalist settlers, and more recent arrivals from across Canada and around the world.
