Van Gogh Designs' cleaning codes are stated on labels affixed to the back of every swatch. If you don't know which code the fabric on your piece of furniture is categorized under, please feel free to give us a call at 416-462-9898 for assistance.
S - Use Solvent Cleaner. Spot clean this fabric with mild water-free dry-cleaning solvent available in local stores. Use sparingly in a well-ventilated room with no sparks or flame in the room.
W - Use Water-Based Cleaner. Spot clean this fabric with the foam only of a water-based cleaning agent such as a mild detergent or commercial upholstery shampoo. Use sparingly. Avoid overwetting.
WS - Use Water-Based Solvent Cleaner. Spot clean this fabric with a dry-cleaning solvent, mild detergent foam or upholstery shampoo, depending on the stain.
DC - Dry clean only.
Van Gogh Designs advises that if at any time you are not sure of the nature of the stain, or you have a delicate fabric on your upholstered piece, that you seek the advice of a professional cleaner.
